Description
Two brake vans were supplied to the Welshpool & Llanfair Light Railway by Pickerings, each equipped with an end verandah, stove and lockers. When the G.W.R. took over they were fitted with sliding doors to the verandahs which were enclosed and given two windows.
The models represent the original form and are available in W&L Light Grey with a choice of two different running numbers, G W Dark Grey (data only) or Data only in light grey. The van comes with a 45mm insulated wheel set fitted but a 32mm wheel set is provided for use on ‘0’ gauge. Couplings are chopper type but have a hook fitted if you wish to remove the chopper hook and use 3 link chains.
